The Association of International Schools in Africa – Global Issues Service Summit (AISA-GISS) is an annual three day summit gathering students from all over the continent to discuss actions they have been taking in their local communities.
This year, ASA was represented by nine high school students, accompanied by two teachers. ASA delegates had the great opportunity to attend and inspire themselves while building connections and taking on the role of leaders. During the conference, they partook in a range of service activities, heard from different experts, and thoroughly explored current global issues with the motive to find and share solutions with each other. Everyone was grateful for this pressing reminder that the future is now, and it is our responsibility to shape it.
