Working at ASA

ASA seeks passionate and creative teachers with overseas experience who are certified, technologically literate, flexible and willing to sponsor extra activities and/or sports. Applicants should have at least 3 years of teaching experience with inquiry-based learning; IB experience is preferred. We offer competitive salary and benefits packages. Professional development opportunities are well supported.

ASA is committed to safeguarding the welfare of children and young people. We have a robust Child Protection Policy in place. All applicants will be subject to identity checks, qualification checks and employment checks, which will include an exploration of any gaps within employment. Police clearances are required, referees will be contacted and previous employers will specifically be asked questions regarding the applicant’s suitability to work with children.

At ASA we are always happy to receive interest from highly qualified teacher applicants. We post our openings internationally on Schrole Connect and the Global Recruitment Collaborative. Expressions of interest can also be lodged on Schrole Connect, if you do not see a relevant current opening. ASA aims to recruit the very best teacher for every position, from around the globe. We are an equal opportunities employer and diversity is important to us. We will carefully consider each application to ensure that we get the best teachers for our students.

Alternatively, for teachers who are not associated with the platforms above, please send a covering letter and CV in one-page pdf format to recruitment@asamadagascar.org.
