Math | Grades 3 and 4 students shine in the Polyup US Challenge

February 11, 2021

This school year, Grades 3 and 4 students participated in a worldwide math challenge called the Polyup US Challenge. Polyup is an interactive virtual playground where students use math to solve problems, tinker, create, build, and share any 3D system they can imagine. The US Challenge sees students develop their computational, system, and design thinking skills. As well, the challenge allows students to work on designs that have a societal impact. Some students are designing worlds that will bring back balance to an ecosystem.

Not only did Grade 3 win second place in the challenge, some of our students were also recognized on the leaderboard!

Here is what one of our Grade 3 students has to say about Polyup.
